It’s the News
Monday, November 5th, 2007A little off-topic from my usual photography-related posts, but since when did 75% of the stories covered on CNN revolve around celebrities? Why is it that when I go to the nytimes.com, there’s a “front page” story about Jerry Seinfeld’s wife?
I suppose these news venues should feel like they have to cover every facet of the “news,” but I think there are enough tabloids and channels devoted to this type of non-news for these outlets to knock back the percentages – say, to 50%? Maybe less?
