Sometimes Pretty Music Is Enough
I’ve been ridiculously busy lately, and photography, reading, music - all my solitary pursuits - have taken a bit of a hiatus while I wallow in a week of sociability (don’t worry, it’ll be over in a couple of days).
Tonight, however, I stumbled accidentally on Alison Krause’s “Crimson Tide.” I’d gotten a long time ago and never really listened to. It’s very beautiful, although I have to admit that I’m a sucker for anything with piano, violin, and/or accordion. It ended up being a great soundtrack for my night when my movie plans became staying-in-and-watching-Grey’s-Anatomy night.
