Pentax Photo Gallery
If you don’t know what the Pentax Photo Gallery is, don’t worry; I didn’t either for quite a while, so long it’s almost embarrassing. Pentax runs a website where users of Pentax cameras can submit photos for entry. The submitted photos are first voted on by other photographers and then vetted by someone from Pentax Corp.
Over at the Pentax forums at dpreview, there’s a lot of angst when someone has their photos declined. I finally decided to see if any of mine could make it through. I submitted five from my trip to Spain and Morocco (this one, this one, this one, this one, and this one) and two of them made it! I’m really not heartbroken at all about the other three, although I might have felt differently had all five been rejected.

I’ve said it to you in person before, but I will brighten up yet another night for you with a congratulations. These were two of my favorite trip pictures you came up with in Morocco, so it is no surprise to me that they made it. Have a glass of chardonnay on me…I know that you have at least one glass left for it.
