Canon Blue
Thursday, December 20th, 2007Canon Blue, a Nashville-based band, posted its newest EP free online this week. The four tracks are all worth a listen, but the first track, Kingfisher Sweet, is one of those songs that is somehow able to bring to mind the best and the worst days from childhood, my favorite book, and my favorite movie. I was actually just listening to the song when I decided to take my 365 pic. I wanted to try to capture the thoughtful whimsy of it. I ended up choosing this photo, where you can clearly see my headphones around my neck:
But I really, really liked the outtake below. Somehow, I don’t think this looks like me at all - but all that’s been done is a RAW conversion and cropping. I look like a robot.
