When the fabulous Jens from the dpreview forums sent me a photo, I knew I wanted to feature it in a 365 shot. I toyed with a few ideas, but I knew I wanted to take one outside, juxtaposing the serenity of the original photo with a background completely opposite.
This photo has been vexing me all week. One day, the light was perfect and I actually had time to play with the setup. But alas, the one bench in the area was occupied by a sleeping homeless man.
Today, I was determined to get a usable shot. With the clouds overhead threatening rain at any moment, I knew I had to work fast. I took five preliminary shots to get my settings right and then five shots by remote. I left without checking any of them and was thrilled that I had one to work with.
