Lightroom Presets: Fake It Til You Make It
Sunday, May 18th, 2008I was playing around the other day with a few self-portraits and came up with an Adobe Lightroom preset that I really liked. I called it “Fake It Til You Make It.” It seems to work well on photos that are slightly under-exposed to add lots of punch and light. Today, I made a black-and-white version as well.

A note on the use: adjusting “Exposure” seems to be the best way to get the highlights and shadows where you want them – adjusting “Brightness” seems to blow out the highlights every time.
