First!

I came in 1st place in one of the challenges sponsored by dpreview.com. I’ve entered a few (and placed 2nd, 13th, and, um, 86th), but when I saw the theme was “Capturing Melancholy,” I knew this was a challenge meant for me ;)

And you know what that means: my photo featured on the front page of dpreview.com on the same week the K7 is released, whoo-hoo!

    Hey, really nice pic, tons of atmosphere, really good light there too.

    I just read that you used the on-board timer. I search your site and read that you lost your remote control. I don’t want to make any publicity, but if you want to replace the remote with a cheap alternative, dealextreme.com sells them for only a couple of bucks post-paid. Work just as well, but I heard they don’t fit in the grip, which I don’t have anyway…

    Hey Keitha, that is great stuff! Congrats. I have been too limited in time and motivation to try these challenges yet. But maybe someday………
